Der Trainingskurs richtet sich an
Target Group: Staff of universities in Ukraine.
Objective: To qualify the personnel of Ukrainian universities (international offices, university managers) over 18 months to internationalize their institutions. To establish long-term institutional contacts and sustainable networks.



- Understanding of internationalization processes and strategies.
- Comparison of the German and Ukrainian higher education systems.
- Academic mobility and research cooperation.
- Development and implementation of individual internationalization projects relevant to their home university.
Program Highlights:
- Overview of funding instruments for international cooperation.
- On-site visits to the Volkswagen Foundation, Alexander von Humboldt Foundation, HRK, DAAD, DFG, as well as short internships at selected institutions.
- Support from the German-Ukrainian Academic Society e.V. and the Network for Science Management! e.V.

The results of the third cohort were presented on October 22, 2024, at the 3rd Forum "Internationalisation of Ukrainian Higher Education Institutions." See presentations on: Internationalisation of curricula@home; Internationalisation Strategy; Infrastructure for Internationalisation; Empowering partnerships.
Additionally, participants showcased their universities at the EAIE Conference 2024 in Toulouse and shared key insights at the forum. See report.
