Different application procedures
These additional requirements may mean that you need more time to prepare your application. Additional aptitude tests usually have their own application periods, so it is advisable to find out about them as early as possible.
Some subjects are offered in cooperation with one or more other universities. In these cases, you must check whether you need to apply for the aptitude test via ÁñÁ«ÊÓÆµ or directly via the partner university.
Special selection procedures for subjects in the 2-subject degree programmes
Special admission requirements apply to the following subjects at ÁñÁ«ÊÓÆµ:

Performing Arts
- Performing Arts can be studied as part of the interdisciplinary Bachelor's programme.
- Offered in cooperation with the Braunschweig University of Art, the University of Music, Drama and Media Hanover, the Technical University of Braunschweig and the University of Hildesheim Foundation.
- Please note that an entrance examination is required for this subject. The application for admission to the subject of Performing Arts, including participation in the entrance examination, must be submitted to the HBK Braunschweig by 15 March of the year in question (deadline).
- After passing the entrance examination at the HBK Braunschweig, you can enrol at ÁñÁ«ÊÓÆµ in the Interdisciplinary Bachelor programme. Please note the subject combinations available with the subject of Performing Arts.

- English can be studied in the Interdisciplinary Bachelor, Technical Education and Special Needs Education degree programmes.
- Please note that you must prove your English language skills at level B2 in order to apply.

Art
- Art can be studied as part of the Bachelor's degree programme in Special Needs Education
- Offered in cooperation with the Braunschweig University of Art (HBK Braunschweig)
- To study art as a second subject in the Bachelor's degree programme in Special Needs Education, you must demonstrate special artistic ability in the artistic entrance examination at the HBK Braunschweig.
- Application for the artistic entrance examination at the HBK Braunschweig: 1 February – 15 March of the year preceding the winter semester

Music
- Music can be studied as part of the interdisciplinary Bachelor's and Bachelor's degree programmes in Special Needs Education.
- Offered in cooperation with the Hanover University of Music, Drama and Media (HMTMH).
- Please note that applications for the entrance examination for the subject of music, together with the required application documents, must generally be received by the Hanover University of Music, Drama and Media by April of each year. Please inform yourself about the deadline in good time.
- In the subject of music in the interdisciplinary Bachelor's programme, you will spend the first two semesters exclusively at the HMTMH.

Special Needs Education
- This subject must be studied as a first subject in the two-subject Bachelor's degree programme in special needs education.
- Please note that you must complete a special educational internship of at least four weeks. Proof of the internship can be submitted by 30 September.

Sports
- Sports can be studied as part of the Interdisciplinary Bachelor, Technical Education and Special Needs Education degree programmes.
- Please note that proof of passing the aptitude test for sports is a prerequisite for admission. Proof must be submitted with the application by 15 July of the year (deadline) for the winter semester.
