Undergraduate degree programmes (Bachelor's and state examination)

Winter semester

A general distinction is made between unrestricted (no selection process and no NC) and restricted degree programmes (with selection process and NC).

Application period for restricted degree programmes:
1 June to 15 July of each year
Enrolment period for unrestricted degree programmes:
1 June to 30 September of the year

Applicants from non-EU countries require a "痴辞谤辫谤眉蹿耻苍驳蝉诲辞办耻尘别苍迟补迟颈辞苍" (preliminary examination documentation). This must be applied for at least eight weeks before the end of the LUH application deadline.

Summer semester

Applications for undergraduate programmes at LUH are generally only possible for the winter semester.

There are a few exceptions to this rule, namely a small number of unrestricted programmes that also start in the summer semester. You can enrol for these programmes between 1 December and 31 March:

For restricted-admission degree programmes, applications for the summer semester are only possible for higher semesters.

Postgraduate studies (Master's degree)

Applying from Germany and the EU

In principle, you can apply for all Master's programmes starting in the winter semester.

Many Master's programmes also offer the option of applying for the summer semester. Please inform yourself in good time about the individual application deadlines for your desired programme.

Regular application deadlines

1 June to 15 July of the year preceding the winter semester
1 December to 15 January of the year for the summer semester

Applications from non-EU countries

Some Master's programmes have an early application deadline for applicants from non-EU countries. This deadline is six weeks before the regular application deadlines. Please check in good time whether your desired programme has an early deadline.

Early application deadlines

15 April to 31 May of the year preceding the winter semester
15 October to 30 November of the previous year for the summer semester
